In 1917 2 girls claimed that they had not only met fairies at the bottom of the garden but photographed them too! The legend of the Cottingley fairies was born. Now CFI
have revealed that one of the houses that leads to the dell where Elsie Wright and Frances Griffiths claimed to have had their fairy encounters. Check out the Estate Agents listing. Back in 2000 when I heard the other house had been bought I was desperately jealous of new owner, Emmerdale star Dominic Brunt. (Bit of a soapy theme to today’s inaugural posts!)
